Although the information was originally collected for use within the Linlithgow community we hope the list could be useful to others. Adult Basic Education info@abeonline.org.uk   Part of West Lothian Council's Community Learning and Development service. Their aim is to work with anyone over the age of 16 who can set goals to improve literacy and numeracy skills or who is experiencing hearing loss and wishes to learn lip-reading skills. Provide a free service with access to workshops, short courses and ongoing individual learning. Funder Finder through website   Develops and distributes software to help individuals and not-for-profit organisations in the UK to identify charitable trusts that might give them money. Lone Parent Helpline   Information on key issues facing lone parents e.g. legal rights, work, childcare, money/ benefits, maintenance, education, holidays. Low Incomes Tax Reform Group (LITRG) through website   tries to put itself in the shoes of those on low income (low income workers, pensioners and students) and campaigns for changes that simplifies rather than confuses.
